Wonderful experience at Udichi Residency. Service is awesome. Staff personnel are very courteous. The breakfast buffer is out of the world. Plus is the experience at the pool. The total experience package at this price is incomparable. Must stay recommended.

Rooms are good. But not having a good experience with service they provided. We were looking for a resort with swiming pool and we chose this one. After we booked our room, the manager informed that they would not allow us to dive into the swimming pool with any other wearables apart from synthetics. As we didn't have any, manager offered us to buy some jerseys from them. They have charged Rs. 250 each for the jerseys but not included it in the GST bill. Quite disappointing attitude from a manager of this luxury resort.

In house restaurant service should be upgraded. If they cannot arrange and serve people in the way their restaurant seating is arranged, then they should change that rather than creating an inconvenience for the inhouse guests.Management during rush hour during weekend can be improved.Good thing: rooms are good, have attached balcony, neat and clean bathroom, quality of food is good.

Had a wonderful experience recently at the place. Here is a quick take on Udichi:Pros: Good location, aesthetically structured landscaping, wide open spaces. Good hospitality. Good menu and they serve an array of Indian dishes. The rooms are somewhat spacious and fine and addition of infinity pool at the rooftop is a bonus treatCons: Considering the pricing of the place, they should provide more services like inclusion of varied menus. The food they offer seems limited and a few listed items on the menu were unavailable. That was a bit of a disappointment. Aesthetics wise, they can slightly tone down the outdoor lighting, especially those flashy warm bulbs everywhere which overall hampers the local setting. Imagine a bright glowing spot amidst a dark, quiet neighborhood. Car parking can be expanded further.In conclusion, it's a nice place to stay and relish your memories in Santiniketan
